Allan M. Mukuki, PhD Candidate (Leiden, Netherlands), LLM (Groningen, Netherlands), PGDip (KSL), LLB (Hons) (UoN), MCIArb (London), Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.

Allan Mukuki is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a Commissioner for Oaths as well. Allan is presently a PhD Candidate at the Leiden Law School in the Netherlands. He is the holder of an LL.M in International Law and the Law of International Organizations from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He is also the holder of an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nairobi, School of Law as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He also holds a post-graduate diploma in law from the Kenya School of Law. Allan is also a scholar of the Hague Academy of International Law.

Amongst his many hats in the legal profession, Allan is currently the Director of International Partnerships; a Doctoral Fellow; member of the Management Committee and moot court coordinator, all for Strathmore Law School; Research Fellow for the African Region (Kenya), for the European Research Council Grant Project on the interpretation of customary international law; Research Fellow for the Strathmore Institute of Advanced Studies in International Criminal Justice (SIASIC); member, Law Society of Kenya, Legal Education Standards (Advocates Training Program) Ad-Hoc Committee. Allan is also a Legal researcher in the Office of the Solicitor General, Kenya, for the Maritime Delimitation in the Indian Ocean (Somalia v. Kenya), a case before the International Court of Justice.

Allan also wears the hat of an International legal consultant. He has consulted for various international organizations such as Microsoft, the Commonwealth, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), the International Labor Organization (ILO), International Nuremberg Principles Academy etc.
