Mohamed Muse is a financial integrity and regulatory governance scholar specialising in AML/CFT frameworks in Sub-Saharan Africa, especially in Nigeria, Somalia and Senegal.
He is a PhD candidate in Governance and Global Affairs at Leiden University. With over a decade of experience spanning academia, policy institutions, and international development, including work with the World Bank and the African Diaspora Policy Centre, he brings unique analytical expertise to regulatory systems across diverse African contexts. His published research on Somalia-Nigeria FATF regulatory strategies combines field-based qualitative research with policy analysis, contributing to evidence-based approaches for optimising financial governance frameworks across the continent.
