Michael Ncube

Michael Ncube is a multidisciplinary professional with advanced expertise in refugee protection, development policy, and international relations, complemented by strong research and leadership experience across Africa and beyond. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies from the University of London, where he achieved a High Merit for his research dissertation.His studies examined advanced international refugee law, climate-related displacement, healthcare in humanitarian crises, and gender dynamics in forced migration contexts.

 Michael also earned a Master’s in Development Policy and Practice at the University of Cape Town’s Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance, graduating with Distinction. His dissertation’s Analyzing Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures from the Perspective of the AfCFTA Implementation. He is committed to policy-driven solutions for African economic integration and sustainable development. A Mandela Rhodes Scholar (2023–2024), Michael participated in the Foundation’s intensive leadership development programme focusing on reconciliation, education, entrepreneurship, and transformative leadership. Earlier in his academic journey, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations with a minor in Finance & Investment (Georgia College & State University, USA).
